Fabrizio Matos
Fabrizio Matos (Figueira da Foz, 1975) lives and works in Porto. He studied at FBAUP where he obtained his degree in painting and Master's degree in sculpture. Fabrizio occasionally teaches the subjects of Painting and Drawing at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto. His current Doctoral research revolves around the concept of “Velatura” or glaze, its processes and practices at the college of the arts in Coimbra. Fabrizio Matos has exhibited at the Museum of Natural History and Science in Lisbon in 2012, at the Gongju International Festival at the Limlip Museum in South Korea in 2010 and 2011, at the Mostra Internazionale de Milan in 2004, as well as other solo exhibitions in Portugal. His works are part of collections in Spain, Portugal and Italy.
