Inês Teles finalist of the international arts award FMJJ 2019
Inês Teles is one of the 15 finalists of the international arts award from the Maria José Jove foundation. The announcement of the winner will take place on june 4th, at the headquarters of de foundation in Coruña, Spain. The juri was formed by Felipa Jove (president of the María José Jove Foundation), Susana González (director of the FMJJ Collection, project manager and independent curator), Agar Ledo (independent curator and responsible for exhibitions of MARCO-Vigo from 2006 to 2018), Chus Martínez (curator and researcher and director of the Art Institute of the Academy of Art and Design of Basel) and Manuela Moscoso (current curator of the 2020 Liverpool Biennial and former senior curator of the Tamayo Museum in Mexico City). Inês Teles is the only portuguese artist to be selected for the prize.
